car show guidelines:
The collector car show will be held on 7th Avenue between Indian School Road and Campbell Avenue in the Melrose District

All vehicles must pre-register to participate in the car show.

Car classifications are:

Antique Cars (1900-1941), Antique Trucks (1900-1941), Classic Cars (1942-1979), Classic Trucks (1942-1979), Hot Rods and Customs (1900-1979), Vintage Trailers (1979 or older).

All vehicles must have been manufactured in 1979 or earlier.

Registration is free however, a $10 donation would be appreciated to help cover the cost of the entire event.

All registrations will be done by phone, or in person at Chester’s Garage. The registration deadline is February 27, 2011. A $20 entrance fee will be charged day of for all cars not pre-registered. Participants with “For Sale” signs will be charged a $95 vendor fee. The city will barricade the street from 6am to 6pm, cars MUST be in place by 10:45 am. No exceptions. Cars will not be able to leave 7th Avenue prior to 5pm. (per City of Phoenix Fire Department ordinance) All cars must be drivable to enter. No car trailers will be allowed on 7th Ave for unloading.

Awards- A People’s Choice trophy will be awarded for each class, plus a Best of Show for all classes combined.
