It all started when…

Chesters Classic car show originated in 2001 by Bill and Gwen Chester who previously owned Chester's Garage in the heart of Melrose. Now retired, both are founders of the Seventh Avenue Merchant's Association and the car show. The show featured in the street fair, presents antique, classic, hot rod and custom cars and trucks. It is the "everyman's" car show honoring the man who contributed so much to the Melrose area!

FEnders & Friends…

Founded in Arizona in October of 2015, Fenders & Friends now has over 350 members from all over the US and Canada.

Although the club is primarily structured around the LGBTQ community, our progressive membership comes from all walks of life and focuses heavily on non-discrimination. Our interests span a wide variety of wheeled conveyance, both new and old, including cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles and 4-wheel drive vehicles. We welcome vintage campers and travel trailers too.

Feel free to check out our Facebook Page as we are adding new events each month. You'll find all sorts of informative articles, vehicles for sale, funny stories and videos, not to mention lots of photos from our past activities.

FENDERS and FRIENDS is one of the fastest growing clubs of its kind. With members' ages ranging from 20s to 80s, there is literally something of interest for everyone who enjoys social interaction in an automotive environment. We encourage you to send us a Friend Request on our Facebook site.
